Helping a Homeowner with Flood Damage

 

This past week we worked at a home in Port Monmouth, NJ which was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Water from the Sandy Hook Bay poured into the home and ruined everything in its path. Joe Wehner & Sons Contracting, LLC worked to provide the homeowner with a smooth new concrete floor so that they can begin restoring the rest of the damage.

 

Hurricane Aftermath and Rebuilding

We all saw the pictures on the news, but after driving from Mantoloking to Seaside and seeing the homes ripped apart in person, words can not describe the devastation.

Raising the Roof (To Build the First Story)

Joe Wehner and Sons Contracting, LLC did all the excavating and grading on this project.

The house was lifted up and the first floor was built, then the house was lowered back down onto it.

Restoring the Shore One Home at a Time

Joe Wehner & Sons Contracting, LLC is committed to restoring the shore. This house is on the ocean in Elberon. When the hurricane hit it ripped out the bulkhead and washed out the yard. The back porch was hanging off and had to be jacked back up into place. Then the new footings and foundation were built.

Today we had the opportunity to create two different spaces, both with beautiful results.

All in a Days Work

We are only one week into 2013, and it is already gearing up to be a busy year! Land clearing and prep is only one of our areas of expertise-as you will see in the pictures, we also install drywells.
